This innovation provides outstanding color reproduction beyond that of a conventional LCD panel. Samsung's new screen technology results in a significantly increased NTSC color gamut (105%, compared with 72% for typical fluorescent backlit LCD TVs.) Developed in a joint effort between Samsung and Corning Ltd., the FFL enhances brightness and light uniformity. Samsung completes its line of high-end LCD televisions with the 40" LNR408D LCD HDTV and the 32" LNR328W Widescreen LCD HDTV Monitor.
