P R E S S R E L E A S E Barco introduces 56" quad full high definition display NAB, LAS VEGAS, Nevada, US and HMI, Hannover, Germany – 16 April 2007 – Barco, a leader in display and visualization solutions for selected professional markets, announces the availability of a 56" quad full high definition display. The LC-5621 complements the company's LC series of 42" and 47" native full high definition displays with a new 3840 x 2160 pixel resolution format. The new 56" LCD builds on Barco's proven leadership in high-definition LCD technology. "Operators value Barco's high-definition LCD technology in a wide range of applications." said Guy Van Wijmeersch, Global Market Development Manager Utilities and Process Control, Barco Security & Monitoring Division. Mr. Van Wijmeersch continued, "Our unique benefits are recognized across a variety of industries, ranging from studio backdrop applications and broadcast control rooms, utilities and process control centers, traffic surveillance centers to command and control environments." The LC-5621 features a configurable ambient light sensor, a wide viewing angle and adjustable color temperature.
