P R E S S R E L E A S E SHARP INTRODUCES COMPANY’S FIRST 32-INCH CLASS (31-1/2” DIAGONAL) PROFESSIONAL HIGH-DEFINITION LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY MONITOR Expands breadth of size offerings for any digital signage applicationLAS VEGAS, February 25, 2009 – Sharp today announces the new PN-325 32-inch class (31 1/2” Diagonal) professional LCD monitor, which offers a new screen size for the most sophisticated commercial signage and display applications in both landscape and portrait modes. This new model joins Sharp’s steadily expanding line of monitors that have been designed for professional applications and operate in both portrait and landscape mode. With superb image quality and reliability, the monitor offers unparalleled performance for digital signage markets including retail, banking, hospitality and airports, as well as training simulation, government, university and corporate facilities. Also joining the lineup is the PN-325P monitor with an integrated protective acrylic overlay for high traffic areas. “The digital signage market is still in its infancy and the growth potential is limitless. Superior Image Quality and Reliability To show multiple types of content sources in high definition, the monitors utilize DFE (Dual-Fine Engine) technology, which provides superior display of both digital and analog sources so the customer can display computer and video content flawlessly. A built-in enlargement function allows a user to create up to 4x4 video walls from a PC, and offers Picture in Picture capabilities. For superior reliability in any commercial application, the monitor offers a rugged design and components, ideal for extended 24/7 use. The monitor also offers a lockable key panel, power-on delay function and extensive color adjustments.
Enhanced Connectivity The PN-325 and PN-325P are supported with a 3-year, 24/7 on-site parts and labor limited warranty, including 3-year warranty on the backlight with no restrictions on whether the monitor is installed in portrait or landscape mode.
