P R E S S R E L E A S E HISENSE DEBUTS SLIM WIFI AND BLUETOOTH® SOUND BARS AT CES
Las Vegas, NV – January 6, 2014 — Hisense, an innovation leader in flat screen TV performance and form factor efficiency, today introduced complementary Bluetooth® and WiFi sound bars at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show (CES). The move provides consumers with a high performing, add-on audio solution for screens 39-inches and larger that is as good-looking as it is easy to install. “As televisions have become slimmer, the need for dedicated audio systems has become more pronounced. This is a challenge that all manufacturers have faced and one that we are addressing comprehensively and elegantly with our sound bars that are debuting here at CES,” said Jonathan Frank, Vice President of Marketing, Hisense USA. “Hisense makes gorgeous UHD and SMART TVs for the home. It only makes sense to offer an audio equivalent – a truly elevated full sensory experience when playing detailed video games or watching high-impact movies and shows.” The sound bars feature multiple drivers to accommodate full range audio and deep bass reproduction, and include analog, digital and HDMI-ARC connectivity options for easy hook-up. DTS TruSurround HD™ audio processing with up to eight presets delivers a superior audio experience for both movies and music across all three models. The mid-level and entry-level models include optical and Bluetooth capability, perfect for the H7, H6, and the H5 series TVs. The high-end model comes with HDMI capability, and is Bluetooth equipped, DTS, DOLBY® Digital, and a wireless subwoofer for powerful, bass pounding sound. The slim metal design is carved out of high-end aerospace grade aluminum for a sleek lightweight look with excellent industrial design. The high-end sound bar works best with the H9, H8 and H7 models. Look for the entire family of sound bars late 2014. Pricing to be announced later this year.
