Trident's SVP EX Ten-Bit Video Processor With DCRe(TM) Powers Full Lineup of New Daewoo Flat TVs

(NASDAQ:TRID) , a worldwide leader in developing advanced digital TV technology for the consumer digital video marketplace, today announced that Daewoo International Corp., a leader in the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and ODM consumer electronics market, is using Trident's SVP EX ten-bit video processor that features the Digital Cinema Reality Engine (DCRe(TM)) to power its latest family of LCD, PDP, and rear-projection TVs. The new models, 26-inch LCD (DLD-2610SM), 32-inch LCD (DLD-3210SM), 42-inch PDP (DPD-42A1PM), and 50-inch rear-projection (DSJ-5040LDK), are now shipping.
