My Experience: Cannot find a remote to replace original. TV changes setting on startup, difficult to work thru menu screens when remote won't work. Not worth the money to fix it.

Problems: dark vertical lines on left side of screen. TV Changes menu input setting on startup. Cannot find compatable remote as replacement.
