My Experience: I bought this television around 4 years ago. I had it for 2 months and the picture went blank. I immediately took back and the store replaced with a brand new one.
2 years later, the buld went out. I had it replaced (around $125). 6 months later, the buld went out again, another $125. 6 months later, the same thing. No more bulbs for me, it is cheaper to buy a new TV.
Not to mention the picture started turning yellow and Hitachi's customer service was ZERO help. I have since bought two new televisions that I absolutely love. I will NEVER buy another Hitachi product again!!
Problems: Bulb kept burning out, picture turned dark and yellowish.
