My Experience: Buy an extended warranty if you plan on owning a Hitachi TV.

Problems: After about 1 year my tv started developing little blue dots on it. cant find anyone locally to fix it and now a yellow haze has developed in the center of the screen. i will stay away from hitachi tv's in the future. i did some research and it seems this model is very problematic. they should have a recall on them or at least help with the cost of the parts.
