My Experience: The picture on this TV ranges from absolutely incredible to poor. When viewing optimal HD content the picture is incredible. But 70% of the current broadcast content is still standard def and this TV doesn't know how to render that content in a pleasing way. Audio is great for what it is. TV style is impressive in any room even when not turned on.

Problems: The remote control is VERY uncomfortable with sharp edges and corners. The volume and channel dials on it work –but not well. Major embarrassment to Hitachi for letting this remote control design make it into production.
