My Experience: love the large screen, hate that i have to replace the bulb every year or two, 65 bucks every year and a half or so is a little much for what this tv cost. love the clarity of the tv, their was never a distorted area on this tv, it isn't good at compensating for the black, even has a black enhancement on it but made the picture darker and darker the higher the setting so i found that i had the setting on medium and the contrast set to high and the day/night/day extra, setting set to day extra (or whatever the highest was) this in turn probably didn't help the life span of the bulb.

Problems: bulb went out every 1-2 years. make sure you are really careful with screen, i havn't had it shatter yet because i think its plastic, or plexy glass, but it seems that if something is pushing into the tv it will dimple where you pushed distorting the image, ie when we set it up i up from the box some of the stuff was floating in the box and had actually pushed against the screen, when on there is a black dot right in the center of it that if you are sitting right in the front its almost gone but the further you move to the side it gets bigger, sad thing is they said that it wasn't covered under warranty because we didn't buy it from their website, sad, now i have to buy tvs directly from them.
