My Experience: After adjusting the image settings, and disabling all the automatic features, I am quite happy with the picture quality. This TV is still small enough that non-HD broadcasts still look pretty decent, but HD broadcasts are extremely nice. Sports are OK. I have noticed some blockiness during close-up action scenes. I am still unsure if this is due to the satellite reception being bad, or the refresh rate being too slow.
