My Experience: My 42LB1DRA replaces a LG 32 inch that developed a problem. The 42" LCD display is bright and the receiver quality seems high compared to the 32" LG. Menus have improved and the DVR function works well enough. Connector arrangement on the back is improved and its cable management is clean. Downside of the TV remains lack of full integration of the TV guide function with the functions of the set. For example, during configuration you tell the set if it has antenna input. Even if you say no, when changing input source, you must go through antenna whereas all other unused inputs are nicely skipped. When setting up the TV guide, the channel display will show untunable channels and will not select QAM availble HD content over SD content. It takes quite a lot of effort to get the TV guide screen correctly configured to offer and tune what you want. I cannot image most people doing it or getting it right. Once you do, don't expect it to work well forever, within a few weeks the guide will loose sync and you have start all over again. And, be very careful with the menus, they make it too easy to kick off the auto-scan for channels.
Problems: Setup is a problem. Keeping it setup is a problem. Fixing the setup after initial configuration is never right.
