My Experience: we've had the lg 42" lcd 42lp1d for approximately 7 months now,and visitors are literally shocked at both it's impeccible picture and sound quality,but are truly drawn toward the television's style and beauty,as it truly makes a room into an entertainment center!

Problems: only one minor problem,and it's very easy to remedy...that,being the hdmi input placement is vertically located,and has a tendency for the cable to fall out,which is easily corrected with a few pieces of electrical tape...a real luxury would've been two(2) hdmi inputs,however there is really nothing to complain about it!
