My Experience: I bought the LG 42PC3D on sale for under $1349 and could not be more satisfied. The price was right and the picture is immaculate. I've read some poor reviews on picture quality, and I am pretty convinced it must be the cable service. Burn-In has not been an issue period. I actually left this TV on for about 4 hours with a stagnent picture on and one whitewash (option) cleaned it up. I definately recommend turning on the orbital option which SLIGHTY moves the picture every few seconds to help prevent burn-in. It was the first thing I did at power up and highly recommend you do the same, it is so insignificant you will not even notice. I've also read some poor reviews on the sound. I rarely use the TV speakers (I usually use my surround sound), but I think the quality is just fine. I did happen to get the newer version with 2 HDMI outputs, so this may have been a resolved issue.
Problems: The only negative I can come up with is the sound quality on regular channels. The HD channels are 110% clear, but my regular channels are not very loud, I have to set the volume to ~60 when the HD channels only take ~20. NOTE: This may be entirely service related, I can't verify.
