My Experience: Purchased at Christmas 2005 so far it has been very good. Works great with my Home entertainment system lots of good input and output. You should see my screen saver tropical fish are fantastic.

Can't comment on reliabity yet only had it since XMAX.

Problems: Careful using any plasma as computer monitor for you can burn screen. If you set it up properly, hidden icons, hide menus etc. you should be fine.
So far no problems with burn in.

If you want to include this TV with HES then you'll need a fibre optic audio input on your receiver. It's not a real problem but expect to put out $$$ if want to assemble a HOME Entertain System like I have. But it's great you can record movies, watch DVD movies, surf the net listen am and fm using the LG as monitor. Network to all the computers in your home.
