My Experience: We purchased a 56" Panasonic tv in January 2007, after less than a year and a half the lamp is going bad. Of course the warranty is only good for 1 year, the lamp is covered for 5 years, but, we are responsible for the labor to repair the tv. We just received an estimate of $250 for the labor cost. I would not recommend this tv to anyone and wish we would have purchased a different brand that was more reliable. Our old tv (Curtis Mathis) is still working fine after 22 years of use! I will not purchase any Panasonic products in the future and will not recommend this brand to family or friends.
Problems: LIFI lamp going bad afer 1 1/2 years - we are responsible for the labor to replace the lamp which is going to cost us around $250!
