My Experience: I looked at 58 inch Samsungs which were too heavy and the Panasonic 54G10. On the broadcast television end, the panasonic 54G10 looked somewhat jittery and transparent. The TCP54S1 was much more stable and the colors were crisper. The TCP54S1 doesn't employ THX as does the obviously more expensive 54G10, but the colors were cleaner enough for me to make my decision. I haven't hooked up my blu-ray yet, but I expect the picture to be nothing short of breath-taking. I hope that this allows you to make a decision in favor of this nicely put together 90.4 lb. flat screen.
