My Experience: This tv has a clear sharp image especialy when using my philips hdmi dvd player upscaled to 1000 * 700 but the built in freeview image quality is only acceptable on the highest quality transmisions if your looking for crisp free view images go for a 32 unless pixels are your thing,connected to my laptop using a hdmi to dvi lead the picture quality is great,and games run smoothly thanks to a fast response time,the built in speakers are ok but to make use of the digital sound extra equipment is recomended

Problems: and for the bad bit,after 7 months of light use artifacts appeared on reflective and bright parts of the images,seen as white or light blue scatered pixels,realy annoying.
on the plus side philips are now repairing it for the second time as the fault is reacouring but at least philips guarantee was hounored and a fast return after repair .
I look foward to the return of the unit hoping its as good as it was when i firt purchased it.
If all stays reliable its good value for money especialy at the prices seen now.
