My Experience: Bought a refurbed one thinking I could save a little money and that they would most likely get it right the 2nd time around. Bad idea.

Problems: DO NOT BUY PHILIPS! Quality issues galore. Set would intermittently turn off or refuse to turn on until one day when it finally died altogether. Luckily, I found a post by a TV repair guy who mentioned replacing a fuse. I decided to give that a try. It now works again...but who knows for how long.
