My Experience: TV was great till I had powering up & off problems. It would give me a hard time turning on & I'd have to reboot the TV to get it to turn on . So I left TV on all the time & then last time I turned it off it would not turn back on. It was a very nice TV I loved the picture & the sound It is a shame there is something funky going on with the power. I fixed it By Buying (2) New Dynex 42" TV's from Best Buy for $ 550.00 each plus tax. So now I have two bigger tvs for slightly higher than I paid for this one Magnavox TV. Names do not mean anything anymore. Whatever brand you get you will talk to some Indian or Paki guy that is passive agrressively rude with a hard to understand accent. I stopped buyiong Netgear years ago do to the Haji's they hired in customer service that I couldnt understand.
Problems: TV was awesome Less than 2 years old & will not turn on. It just flickers & or flashes when I try to turn it on. It will cost me more oney than the TV is worth to fix. So I just bought a couple TV's from Best buy 42" Dynexs for (2) 42" TV's for 1100 bucks plus tax. That is my response to phillips magnavox & all other companies that put out products that do not live up to there companies great reputation. Thanks Best Buy
