My Experience: Had the set for about a year and a half. The picture is decent, I have never used the speakers so I dont have any comment on them. All in all you get what you pay for with this set.

Problems: The left 1/5th of the screen can be much brighter than the rest of the screen if the backlight is used at all. The television died in its sleep one night, I went to bed and it never woke up. I cant say you get what you pay for because my $600 dollar playstation 3 also failed after its warranty ended and that is supposed to be top of the line equipment.
