My Experience: I Bought this unit at Walmart several months ago. It was a good $500 less then hdtv's of similar size. Overall a good looking TV with many connection options. It does lack 5.1 sound output, but I suppose that's a fair trade for the lower cost.

Problems: The remote range is about six feet,it's very hard to believe it could even be that bad. Has annoying menu pops at times which the clear button corrects. Some menu functions are completely buggy. Beware if you use menus to lock the front panel buttons, it continually pops up a large warning message making it all but impossible to get back into the menu and re enable the front panel. Clock feature works selectively at best.
