My Experience: I have been watching it for a week now. I still cant believe how lifelike the picture is. It does put off some heat, but it's worth it! I can't wait for Blu-ray to dominate so I can get a HD player. BTW: I was worried about SD content on this set. No problems, just let the set do the up-convert versus your settop box. My mac Mini is connected DVI to HDMI - Awesome!
