My Experience: I upgraded from the 42 inch Samsung and am much happier with this one.I needed to have a service call on the 42. It had a colored sparkel on the left side of the screen . They ordered a new board,but it just ended up being an adjustment. This showed up after about 3 months.No problems with the 5034 so far.I had a little burn in from using a Panasonic DVD recorder. The ff and play arrows started to burn in, ran the fix program and it eliminated the burn in.Also turned down the brighness on the DVD recorder so it wouldn't happen again.

Problems: This TV is supposed to have PIP , but no matter what source I use to get it, I can't get it to work. Worked with my 4234.
The sound level program still blares during some programs. Can't get the sound levels to even out while channel surfing.
Alot of glare on the screen during the day.I can live with it.
