My Experience: I just bought the Samsung LN46A540 a week ago and I am more than happy with it. I struggled between this one and the 650 but I don't like the TOC red on the 6 & 7 series. The 540 has the same ultra clear panel as the 6 & 7 series but is a 60hz with 35,000 dynamic contrast ratio compared to 120 hz & 50,000 on the 6 & 7 series. The difference is not noticable to me and the piano black case is elegant. For the best quality picture get a HDMI box from your cable provider. No problem with the glass panel in my well lit living room, it has an incredible picture. Got mine on sale, sweet deal!
