My Experience: Great monitor for the money, bright with good colors. Has a whiteout feature to un-burn any images you're careless enough to have allowed. Easy remote to use. Sound is easily adequate. Have not used as a monitor, only with Cox HD cable box, with 2 HDMI, I feel 1 more would have been helpful, I use one for the cable box and 1 for the DVD player, 1 more for video cams or game system would have been nice. The ONLY drawback I've seen or experienced is the halo effect on solid colors, however the response time of the monitor works well on action movies or sports. If you can still find one of these for less than $1000.00 you would be re-miss to not purchase it if you have a need for a new T.V. or monitor
