My Experience: I own a silver LC40C45U.. tried to edit my original review but it wouldn't let me, so I'm posting this follow-up for the same TV (the black LC45D40U). Same set, different color.

My first LC40C45U was defective. I exchanged it and all the picture quality problems went away. Now I love it and am glad I didn't go for my other option.

Problems: none.
