My Experience: Bought this set 10/7/2006. I was wowed when I saw the picture on it in the store. I was considering the sony xbr-2 but at nearly 800 cheaper and a better picture I went with this. I'm glad I did I have not seen a better picture yet sharp is on the money with this set. I have no humming or banding as someone is claiming. My local electronics store sold me this set for 2899 for that price nothing comes close. See for yourself you won't be sorry.
