My Experience: I own an Aquos LC46D92U. I've used it for two weeks and it is an extraordinary TV. The picture is far and away the best on the market, with incredible, vibrant colors and deep, deep blacks. 1080i from cable is almost better than live, with incredible detail. This is what HD is supposed to be about! The brightness (450 cdm) of the screen and contrast specs at 15,000:1 dynamic and 3,000:1 are the best available on the market at this time. I chose between an XBR3 and the Aquos, and it beat the Sony hands down. THe quality of the set is outstanding. The piano black makes it look rich. Even the stand is heavy and sturdy. SHarp went out of its way to make a great set. I have absolutely no problems with banding as some have reported. I am extremely happy with my choice. Check it out for yourself.
