My Experience: Not a 120mhz set, but does okay. Has some issues with analog cable channels. Best to turn off all features (fast motion, movie mode) to get the best picture otherwise you get the dreaded vertical banding. Very bright. We have to turn it down, but then you get a flatter contrast image. Has less image blocking and smear than older LCDs, so that's a plus. The only reason I didn't go for a plasma was the LCD has less reflective screen and we have a lot of skylights. I still think plasma has a better image. Oh yes, it's big and if you are coming from a smaller TV, be prepared to get a far amount of eyestrain until you get used to it.
