My Experience: My unit has a great picture! We use it to watch DVDs, satellite TV (not-HD), and with an XBox 360. I have no complaints about the picture with any of these sources. The speakers seem to be an afterthought--we don't use them because we have a surround sound system. I wouldn't recommend using the built-in speakers for anything. The ergonomics leave a bit to be desired--the composite inputs point straight down from the bottom at the rear. They are not easy to get to, so if you need to swap cables often it is a pain.
Problems: The two "feet" that the unit sets on are removable for wall mounting. They are not very robust--I am concerned about trying to move the unit. To make connections or clean the air vents on the back you hve to pick the whole monitor up. If you try to slide it the non-skid pads on the feet stay put and the feet themselves flex, causing me to worry that they might break. If you wall mount, or never move the monitor, this isn't an issue.
