My Experience: Love it. Looked at LCD,DLP, the works. Often found LCD's in stores 6mos. old with dead pixels. They explained how many hours-a-day they're on. DLP scared me with the 2000-2500 lamp live. Figured I was better off with a set that would run like mad till it died. Did'nt rate reliability because I've only had it a few months. Picture is awesome. Also, most LCD's that had incredible pictures in the stores, the brightness was almost always full on. This set is 1200, and factory settings for everything except contrast are set at half, or 25. Contrast is set at like 4/5 of full on. Hope that helps. If this set gives me quite a few years, I'd buy another from them in a heartbeat.
