My Experience: Out of the box the picture was excellent @480i. At 720p the images are crisp and bright. I am very satisfied with the picture quality. After running the tv for 3months with moderate use, the bulb blew. I called toshiba and they were very helpful and replaced my lamp without question...of course I came to find out these tvs have lamp issues. Also the digital tuner is weak, it doesn't automatically scan for digital channels and you have to search manually...time consuming!!!

Problems: 1. Lamp issues.
2. New lamp only comes with 180day warranty.
3. Digital tuner is weak at best.
4. TV guide does not work for hd signals.
5. Very expensive for what you get.
