My Experience: After having this TV for only 2 months green dots were taking over the entire screen. The LCD panel along with the main signal board had to be replaced. Toshiba would not replace with a new TV. We have only had this TV 20 months and now there is a multicolor vertical 5 inch stripe in the middle of the screen. Took it to shop and was told it needs a new LCD panel. Cost to repair: Toshiba wants $2600.00 for LCD panel...Total cost to repair $3,000.00 What a rip off.

Problems: This TV "WAS" the heart and soul to our much needed update to our entertainment center. Toshiba has been paid their money for this unreliable product..It is so sad that Toshiba wants such an outragoues price for the LCD panel part. One could purchace two 55" new TV's for that cost.. Even sadder that they force the consumer to add to the more to the landfills. Please think twice before buying a Toshiba product.
