My Experience: This TV leads the pack in absolute bang-for-the-buck. Good resolution, Faroudja de-interlacing, and that mighty plasma "pop" (10,000:1 contrast) that you can't get from any LCD TV at any price. The image is brilliant, and I have had no issues with excessive cooling noise or picture quality. I've noticed some macroblocking, which I'd attribute to the source material more than the TV itself. Haven't tried Blu-Ray or HD-DVD yet, but my upconverting Panny DVD via HDMI delivers a pretty spectacular image. Bottom line - money very well spent.

Problems: Not the sharpest set for SD material, but HD is fantastic. SD is more than acceptable for normal viewing.
