My Experience: I have a Vizio VU37L in a vacation home with no more use than one weekend per month in 14 months. When left in between visits TV will turn on but no picture. I turned on, turned off, plugged in, unplugged a dozen times or more and suddenly there's a picture. I come back 3 weeks later it turns on but no picture. The games I have to play to get it to work is like I've got to pat my head and rub my stomach while standing on one foot with my head tilted to the side and I have no idea what sequence to use to get it to work again. When I called Vizio they told me my "backlight" is gone and must be replaced. Well, that was wrong.I have 3 Vizios and I will never buy another one. Yes, they are cheap. In more ways than price. You get what you pay for.
