My Experience: Considering the price one would be hard pressed to find more bang for the buck. Picture quality in HD rivals that of the lower end 1st tier company sets like Sony Bravia S Series and better than the 5 series Olevia. I shopped high and low for a good 37" in the less than $1000 category and stumbled across this 42" set for $799 locally. 2 each HDMI, Component, composite and S video plus VGA gives it all the connectivity I need. The sound is just stereo but there is audio out and spdif plus headphone jack. And actually the sound is noticeably better than the 3 year old Sony vega it replaced. There is a lot of user adjustments for the picture and it took a while to get it at its best. If you don't have to have 1080P this set deserves strong consideration.

Problems: None after 30 days of ownership.
