The exhibit floor opened today amid a spray of HDTVs from the big boys and the lesser knowns like Audiovox, Broksonic, and AKAI. 1080p's everywhere you turned.

Though when you take a closer look, you notice that the 1080p's are predominately LCDs. Not as many sizes and models are available in plasmas. Actually, almost no 42" plasmas were 1080p.

You have to head to the larger sizes of over 50" before you find a lot of 1080p plasmas. Tomorrow, I have meetings with a number of manufacturers and I will give you my perspective on the future of the marketplace.
