My Experience: I bought this TV almost new from someone leaving the country, one month after it was brand new (June '06). Overall, it has been a good TV. The picture is clear, the ambilight is a nice feature, and it worked well until May '09. Philips is aware that this tv has a defective power supply, however will only refer you to the local repair shop. Estimated cost of repairs are $500+, however if you google "flashing red light" and this TV, you will find hundreds of people who have had the same problem. BUYER BEWARE! I am thankful I didn't pay full price, but I will never, NEVER buy from Philips again.
