My Experience: We've had this television for almost 3 years and have never had any of the described "problems". We have spared no expense in setting the set up with proper power management accessories, therefore no power issues as described in many posts. If you can find one, buy it! The ambilight still amazes folks that come by and it adds a nice touch to the viewing experience.
The menu's are easy to learn and use. Linking it to our Denon amp/receiver was a snap. HD is for me!
