My Experience: My Overall Experience with this product is summed up as a complete nightmare... and Its not even mine!

Problems: Well my father bought this tv 2 years ago black friday. boy was he excited, we didn't even have hd programming and he was still excited. So foreward to July... out goes the control box in the middle of having out of town family over. call polaroid, 4 days into it they finally give us someone with half a brain to talk to and in about 2 weeks they send us an outsourced repairman from an hour and a half away. So all is fine until yesterday, after dealing with cancer and unemployment for months on end (while moving to a new city), I figure its about time to get them something high definition (they still dont have any hdmi or hd programs). I buy him a blue-ray player for fathers day and a few movies. We get it all hooked up throught hdmi and we watch it for half an hour then eat dinner, come back and no signal through either hdmi port. I call them and they tell me theres nothing they can do. I even drove back 45 minutes to the closest electronics store and they tested the player and cable, both fine. (total driving time for the day was about 5 hours of back and forth) Polaroid will do nothing about their horrible product...I hope they all burn in the fiery depths. Now theres no point in my familys hdtv because it cant handle HD...
