My Experience: I bought this tv 6 months ago and after only 4 months the picture went out. I could switch any channel or any input and have sound, but no picture whatsoever. Being under a 1 yr warranty, I brought it to and authorized RCA dealer. It has now been broken for 2 months and everytime I call RCA I get the run-around. They told me that the part to fix the tv has been on backorder for 6 months, which is how long ago I bought the tv, and that they cannot promise me a time (anywhere from another month, six more months, anything) of how long it would take to get the part in. I then called last week to ask for a loaner tv, new/refurbished tv, or my money back, all options under the warranty. They tell me they cannot do that, they would have to investigate the matter, and treated me like I'm the one ripping them off. They then "check on the availability of the part" and miraculously they have the part and will order it for me, and say they will be in touch with me in 3-5 business days on the status of the part, etc. I did not hear back from them, called back today, they again, check on the part, and tell me what, that they can get the part and will order it for me etc. The exact same story I got last Monday when I called. Again I am told they will not refund my money, give me a loaner, or replace the tv. Basically, I am out full amount that I paid, which was in cash, that I spent on this tv, despite having my original recipe and the tv being under warranty.
Problems: RCA is selling a horrible product that they refuse to fix, and then do not uphold their own warranty.
