My Experience: The television is nice, big and cheap. A good deal from a fairly decent brand. High definition television over-the-air and on satellite looks great, and DVDs also look spectacular (we have it hooked up with component cables). Good picture controls, but after running a calibration dvd I pretty much left them where they are. Nice defaults Sanyo!
Problems: The only problem is an issue called overscan (Good on the boob tube, bad on LCDs). With HDMI from our satellite box and from our blu-ray computer, the picture is stretched bigger than the screen itself, making computer use on the Sanyo entirely impractical. It of course distorts the picture slightly and cuts off some of all four sides of the image. In short, you aren't getting a true, full HD picture....still better than standard definition, but not the best.
