My Experience: Was great when new. Superior picture quality. This is an entry-level bravia, so does not have all the bells ans whistles, but has the great bravia video engine. At least it's great until the warranty runs out....

Problems: I agree with the other poster. These are only as good as the warranty. I now have to see what I can do for repairs. It still works, but for ten to fifteen minutes during warmup the right have of the screen is streaked and distorted, the middle thhird is streaked, distoreted and darker than the rest. It is getting worse, so something is on the way out. Check out other warnings on SONY LCDs on the internet! I think SONY knows they have a problem, but like Toyota, don't want to admit or cover it. I DON'T RECOMMEND SONY!
