My Experience: I've had this model for little over 2 years now and just blew out the second lamp on it. Called customer service, but Toshiba's recall on the lamp was only good once and only within 2 years of purchase. My friend has a Sony and the picture quality on it makes this one look like an analog TV with rabbit ear antenas. Also, the internal fan to keep the lamp cool is running constantly, even when the TV isn't even on. Don't waste your money on a Toshiba TV.

Problems: Lamp life is horrific. 2 lamps burned out in less than 2 years.
