My Experience: I bought this TV at COSTCO. Was VERY happy for a year+. The only issue was a loud hum started when in use. The picture quality is Excellent.

Then the Lamp blew out. I didn't know that Toshiba would replace it once so i bought a new one on E-Bay for $150. So far so good.

However now we are havinf an issue with the "color wheel/light engine". Have been informed it will cost $900+ to replace and the part is back ordered for 3 or more weeks.

I seem to agree with most of the other posts on here. It is a GREAT TV, WHEN WORKING, however there seem to be some quality control issues that Toshiba has problems with. Not sure if I will fix it and keep it or simply replace with a new one. I think it is just over 2 years old, of course out of warranty.

Problems: (1) Lamp issues, like everyone else.

(2) color wheel/light engine (can't buy color wheel seperately, have to buy the whole unit at $900+)
