My Experience: I purchased this TV 14 months ago and it has been a joy to own until 1 month ago. A faint blue/purple line about 1 inch thick appeared at the bottom of the screen. I have been told that it is the "LCD engine" that needs to be replaced and will cost $1,700 IF you can find a repairman in your area. Most TV specialists won't touch this product because it has been horribly unreliable. After reading other posts on-line, a majority of the persons who own this TV have experienced the same problem within 18 months of purchase. Most report it only gets worse, with an additional faint green line appearing at the top of the screen. DO NOT BUY!!! ZENITH DISCONTINUED THIS PRODUCT FOR A REASON!!!
Problems: faint purple/blue line 1-2 inch thick at bottom of screen. Zenith customer service mimics that of a cell phone company. IF you get somebody on the line, they refer you to someone else who immediately refers you back to Zenith. These people are a joke.
