My Experience: Complaint Description - Posted 6/23/2009 9:37:53 AM I'm writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with your TV model HP PL4260N and lack of support I received from the company you are running. While watching it with my family the display went black and the sound continued to play. After troubleshooting with the manual. I researched the issue on the internet and to my surprise many people are experiencing the same issue with this model. I called HP Tech Support only to have them tell me an extended warranty was issued for those experiencing this problem and it ended in January. The only thing left was to pay $629.00 for in-home service or find a service center. It appears to me that HP knowingly extended a limited warranty for a product which should of had a full recall. This is unacceptable. I have an RCA which I bought in1996, and it's still playing with no issues. I buy a 42" plasma and it lasts a little over two years. The reputation of a company's products eventually speak for themselves, and the lack of support from that from that company indicates their willingness to stand behind their products. HP appears to be failing in both areas. Restore our faith in HP by addressing my issue, and consider a full recall on your product.
Problems: This TV is CRAP!
