My Experience: We bought this in 2004 and have problems with it about every 6 months. Thankfully I had purchased an extended warranty. Finally after several letters and emails complaining they are going to replace my tv with a newer model. Hopefully this one will be better.

Problems: Lamp going out every 6 months, black spots showing up on screen, capacitor going out and having to be replaced/rebuilt.
