My Experience: I bought this TV in April of '07. I absolutely loved it (after much looking and returning both a Samsung and a Vizio. I'm so glad I went with Sanyo as the quality of the picture put both to shame and the sound quality of the Samsung to shame. I bought a second one in December '07 for my vacation property as I felt it was that good and at a good price. The only thing that I would have liked to see (which it does not have) is a favorites button in order to quickly go to the channels I watch most. In order to change inputs you have to press the input button to toggle through the 3 HDMI's, 3 Video inputs, and the Cable and Digital inputs. This is not a problem, but I've seen some remotes (Sony I think) that has various buttons to get to the input you want a little quicker. The sound is very acceptable and there is no need to hook up a home entertainment center. The picture is incredibly bright - and the white is so white it is what I call brilliant. You can't go wrong with this set if you are looking for an excellent TV at a good value. We sit about 9' away from the TV and even closer up it is excellent. The picture is excellent even if you do not get HD yet. In fact, if you do not have a cable box to get digital cable, you can use an antennae and bring in digital cable (hd) channels that are being broadcast and get the HD feeds on the Digital input. You can then simply toggle back and forth between Cable and Digital inputs. We did this before we decided that we'd just bite the bullet, bend over, and pay the price for the cable box so that we could stay on just the HDMI input and not have to toggle back and forth.

Problems: Apart from the lack of a favorites button, I have no other desire for this TV.
